Headbanged Zine!

HEADBANGED is a zine I made with the intent to talk about chronic illness, disability, and queerness.

When I think of my 'target audience', I can only really think of one friend who would read this and be able to relate to the majority of the experiences (not say that disabled queer people do not exist because we definitely do). So, to say that I made this zine with the intent of creating content for this massive group of chronically ill, queer people that I am friends with would be disingenuous. I am still searching to find a local community of such people.

The purpose of my zine was more to make noise and write about my own experiences with the hopes that maybe one day it will find its way into someone who is just starting their own journey and they need a friend (I certainly would have liked to have someone tell me that my experiences were shared among others).

p.s. I have no idea how to label zine editions/volumes so i chose volume, but there was zero research behind that decision
